The Longwood Cemetery has been used since at least 1880. The land was donated by its first homesteader, John Neill Searcy. Many people important in the development of Longwood, such as the Henck, Searcy, Entzminger, Hartely, Hooker, and Clouser families, are buried here.
The oldest section if the northwesterly quadrant. The cemetery was souther half of the cemetery (below the path) was added in 1957, along with other improvements such as paving the pathway and adding a stone and chain fence around it. It was decided the southern section would have exclusively flat grave markers, so that it would be easier to maintain with a power.

- Charles W Entzminger – 1872-1933 (real estate investory and politician)
- Nancy Hodges Hooker – 1845-1923 (settled near Milwee Middle in 1860s)
- Lee Jackson Hartley Sr – 1836-1920 (one of first settlers)
- Josiah Benjamin Clouser – 1838-1920 (built many of the town’s most beloved buildings)
