    New Roof on Inside-Outside House

After over a year of planning, the new metal roof on the Inside-Outside House has completed. We thank Hi-Lo Roofing for their great work on this project. Thank all of you for your assistance in raising the funds and the City of Longwood for a grant that helped plug the gap. This is massively important since our old shingle roof was leaking. The Longwood Historic Society continues its work to preserve these precious buildings for another generation!

  • New Bradlee-McIntyre House Sign

The new sign was installed on the 427 side of the Bradlee McIntyre House by Platinum Signs of Casselberry. We think it looks great and will greatly benefit driving awareness of house tours and other events. The old sign was removed. The custom design incorporates architectural elements to accentuate the house’s Queen Anne style. The colors and lettering are raised (like a street sign) and will not fade for dozens of years. It is a big investment in the future.
