General Meeting – Fall 2025
Our next general member meeting is scheduled for September 7. We will have refreshments starting at 2 PM, followed by a local history speaker, and then our business meeting.
Dr. Adrienne Perry
Our guest speaker will be Dr. Adrienne Perry, the former mayor of Longwood and congressional candidate. She and her husband, Justice James E. C. Perry, have lived in Longwood since the mid-1970s. She was an educator and the first black mayor in Seminole County history.
By-Laws Changes
At the last meeting, we introduced proposed changes to the bylaws. We will vote on those changes at this meeting. These changes would reduce the number of trustees from three to two and the number of annual meetings from four to three.
