The current Longwood City Hall and municipal complex was opened in 1964 and has been serving continuously since. Prior to that city hall was two blocks south on Wilma Street at what is called the Old Longwood School. The building has served the town well for over fifty years, though it has drawn criticism for not matching the historic motif of the surrounding district and that ordinances require.
It architecture is that of a typical mid-century style block structure.
