Jason Byrne and Tracy Putnam of the Longwood Historic Society interviewed the Whiteheads at their home on Maine Avenue in Longwood on February 6, 2020. The property has been in the family for around 100 years and Spencer first moved there in 1946. In total Spencer’s family line has been in the area since the 1850s.
The home was torn down in 2022 to build apartments.
